How to create a free email address for signups
Three steps to a free email address made for signups: sign in with Google, claim a name, start receiving mail. No DNS, no setup.

What do you need before you start?
One thing: a Google account. There is no separate password to invent, no email verification loop to complete before the mailbox even exists, and no DNS record to configure. Sign in with Google, and the account behind that sign-in owns the mailbox from that point on.
How do you create the address?
- Open regmail.me and sign in with Google
- Type a prefix for your address, for example hunter99
- Pick a domain from the dropdown
- Claim the mailbox and it starts receiving mail immediately
What does the free tier include?
| Item | Free tier |
|---|---|
| Mailboxes per account | 1 |
| Received emails per mailbox per day | 5 |
| Address expiry | Never, permanent |
| Setup time | Under a minute |
| Cost | 0 |
What happens once you go past the free quota?
A second mailbox on the same account costs 5 Energy. An email received past the 5-per-day quota on a mailbox costs 1 Energy, but only if that mailbox owner has switched paid overflow on. Energy is the site's prepaid unit, and 1 Energy equals 1,000 VND. Overflow is off by default, so a mailbox that hits its daily quota simply stops accepting new mail for the rest of the day unless its owner turned overflow on ahead of time.
Pick a prefix you can remember without looking it up, since you will paste this address into a lot of signup forms. Something readable beats something clever.
Why use a name like this for signups specifically?
A signup form asks for one thing from your email: an address that can receive a confirmation link or a code. It never asks the address to send anything back. A receive-only address does exactly that job and nothing more, which is why it fits a signup flow better than handing out your main personal or work inbox.
Where do you read the mail that arrives?
In the regmail.me web interface, no separate mail client needed. Open the mailbox, and incoming messages appear the same way they would in any inbox, with verification codes and links visible right away.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to set up DNS or MX records myself?
No. The domain is already configured to receive mail. You only pick a prefix and a domain from the list; nothing on your end needs DNS configuration.
Can I create the address without a Google account?
Sign-in currently runs through Google. If you have a Google account already, that is the only credential needed to claim a mailbox.
Does the free address expire after a trial period?
No. The free mailbox is permanent, not a trial. It stays open with its 5-emails-per-day quota until you decide to stop using it.
Can I create more than one address on the free tier?
The free tier includes one mailbox per account. A second mailbox is available for 5 Energy, where 1 Energy equals 1,000 VND.
